Dr. Osman Adiguzel is a distinguished physicist who graduated from Ankara University in 1974 and earned his PhD from Dicle University, Turkey. He completed postdoctoral research at Surrey University,UK, focusing on shape memory alloys. Over a 45-year academic career, he held positions at Dicle University and Firat University, becoming a professor in 1996.

Dr. Adiguzel has published over 80 papers and participated in more than 120 conferences as a speaker,often in leadership roles. Notably, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he delivered over 180 keynote and plenary speeches at virtual conferences. His research interests include shape memory alloys, phase transformations, and advanced alloy modeling techniques. He also supervised numerous PhD and MSc theses and contributed significantly to the Powder Diffraction File, recognized by the International Centre for Diffraction Data.
